showtime vivid voices

for 12-18 years

Our youth choir aims to develop the individual voice while creating a strong, beautiful, ensemble sound. Learn to dance while still supporting the singing voice and perform in front of an audience!

We aim to explore a variety of genres to show the diversity of musical styles featured in the following examples of songs we might study:

Firework
Walkin' on sunshine
Eternal Flame
Fever
What a Wonderful World

The Vivid Voices rehearse every Monday from 17.30 - 19.30h during the normal academic term. The SHOWTIME year usually consist of 30 sessions the number of which can vary slightly in any given term depending on school breaks. There are no regular courses during Austrian school breaks.

Rehearsals begin Monday, September 8th 2014.
Students interested in joining the Vivid Voices, as well as returning members, should prepare a short song which demonstrates their vocal strengths and joy for singing and performing. After a two week trial period, accepted candidates will be offered a contract outlining the expectation as a member of this ensemble.
